LETTER FROM SECRETARY-GENERAL OF ITBMUN 2016
Dear honorable delegates, and guests of Institut Teknologi Bandung Model United Nations (ITBMUN) 2016,
It will be my pleasure to serve you as the Secretary-General of the first ITBMUN, and it is with great honor to welcome all of you to the conference. Our first ever MUN competition held by GMUNC under the patronage of ITB will take place on the 25th - 27th November 2016.
Our priority is to serve the delegates with high quality committee sessions and great hospitality. We will provide you with the best available resources that we can bring, therefore making a great, thought-provoking, and a solution-oriented discussion as a part of your great experience in this year’s conference. In addition to that, we will also serve you with a gala dinner to ensure that you will not only get great committee sessions but also a chance to establish new networks.
We will host 2 councils this year, namely the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural committee (SOCHUM), and Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL). We chose these councils as the designated topic suits our aim to bring in the 21st century issues--rare, interesting, and yet again urgent, and pressing topics.
We will work hard to ensure that you will get the best experience that you can get. We really hope that you can join ITBMUN in November.
